Welcome to the new Kingpins

A letter from Kingpins founder Andrew Olah

At long last, Kingpins Show has its digital outlet. It’s been a long-held ambition of mine to create a visually and intellectually engaging online hub for the denim industry, where the global community can find inspiration and insight. Essentially, our goal is to create a new platform that embodies and builds upon the global community and engagement we’ve created at our Kingpins shows.

You will still find information about our shows, events and initiatives on the site. But now you will also find news, interviews, profiles, data, videos, podcasts and more. We are working with our partners Denim Dudes to bring you a taste of their stellar trend content. We’re also collaborating with The NPD Group, the leading source of market information for more than 20 industries, including apparel and denim, to be your resource for data, industry expertise and prescriptive analytics to help you grow your businesses.

Our online Kingpins Shop will offer a curated selection of new and vintage indigo items from around the world and in the near future, there will be a section where people can find work, consultancy or internships.

We have been hard at work creating the new Kingpinsshow.com. We are teeny newborns and our online presence will expand over time, just as the first Kingpins show, which started in 2004 with only 11 exhibitors, has grown into a leading platform for the denim supply chain across the globe.

We love what we do — and we know you do too. We’re looking forward to sharing the next chapter of Kingpins with you.

Thanks for reading.
